NY Theremin Society Presents at the Synthesizer Museum Berlin
Experience the theremin in two hands-on workshops with internationally renowned thereminist Dorit Chrysler. The workshops are aimed at both beginners and advanced musicians and teach playing technique, sound control, calibration, and creative applications of the theremin in contemporary music production.
Friday, March 6 | 6:30–8:30 p.m.
Theremin Intensive Workshop (2 hours)
A comprehensive, hands-on workshop on playing technique, learning strategies, and pitch and volume control.
Participation fee: €50
Saturday, March 7 | 11:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.
Introductory lesson – “Meet the Theremin” (1 hour)
A compact introduction for anyone who would like to get to know the instrument.
Participation fee: €35
No prior knowledge required. Instruments will be provided.
