Lydia Kavina: Theremin online seminar with the special guest Albert Glinsky.

Albert Glinsky is the author of the most comprehensive biography of Theremin Theremin: Ether Music and Espionage. He began researching Theremin’s life in 1992 while working on his doctoral dissertation. At the time, Theremin’s biography had rarely received any scholarly attention. At the same time, it was surrounded by numerous legends and unsubstantiated claims. To separate fact from fiction, Glinsky had to examine a vast range of sources and archival materials, verifying or disproving many of the myths that had accumulated around Theremin’s life.

This August, we celebrate Leon Theremin’s 130th anniversary. This seminar is a great opportunity to learn and discuss many aspects of Theremin’s life and inventions.
