Practice semitones in different relationship to the chords and harmonies. Build Maj. and Min. 3rds and 7th from a drone note. You can use a Cello drone as a reference. Play the chromatic scale, keeping in mind modulation from one key into another. Surround each note of the major triad by semitones and fill in the spaces between the major chord notes by passing semitones.
